How CareCredit works
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card used at dental, medical and veterinary practices across the country. The application is completed online and takes a few minutes, and in most cases a decision is returned immediately.
If you are approved, print the online response and bring it with you to your appointment along with two forms of identification. The patient must be present at the time of service. Your CareCredit card itself arrives separately in the mail and can then be used at thousands of providers nationwide.
It is a credit product rather than a practice payment plan, so read the terms — particularly any promotional interest period and what happens when it ends — before committing.
